Grated Chinese Yam Miso Soup

You can also enjoy this miso soup over rice.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Tsukune-imo (Chinese yam) 200 g
Shredded dried seaweed 4 g
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Grate the tsukune-imo.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil. Add the tsukune-imo and boil for a short time.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the shredded dried seaweed on top.

★ A Note
Tsukune-imo is very sticky and has a rich taste.
