Pumpkin and Onion Miso Soup

Pumpkin skin is full of nutrition. This miso soup warms you up.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Pumpkin 250 g
Onion 1/2
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the pumpkin, unskinned, into rectangles. Slice the onion a little thickly.
  2. Boil the pumpkin and onion in the dashi stock until they become tender.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note
Sweet pumpkin goes well with the sweetness of onion in this miso soup.
