Fresh Scallop and Bracken Miso Soup

Enjoy the good combination of savory fresh scallops and tasty and nutritious bracken (warabi) in this miso soup.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Fresh scallops 4
Warabi 40 g
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the fresh scallops into proper sizes. Boil the warabi and cut to 3-cm length.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the fresh scallops. After the scallops are cooked, add the warabi and boil for a moment.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note
The white scallops and seasonal warabi in the miso soup are appetizing.
