Deep-fried Garlic and Turnip Miso Soup

Good for the lack of stamina in late summer.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Garlic 8 cloves
Small turnips 2
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and deep-fry them in vegetable oil at 180 °C. Peel the small turnips slightly thickly and cut them into proper sizes.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the turnips. After the turnips are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the garlic on top.

★ A Note
Soft garlic makes the miso soup tastier.
