Grated Daikon Snow Miso Soup

Refreshing grated daikon radish makes you feel at ease. This is a unique miso soup with ordinary ingredients.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Tofu 1/2 cake
Daikon radish 5 cm
Goshiki-arare
(Five-color rice cracker bits)
1 tablespoon
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the tofu into 1-cm cubes and grate the daikon radish.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the tofu for a quick boiling. Add the grated daikon and boil for a moment.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the goshiki-arare sprinkled.
