Lotus Root Balls Miso Soup
Enjoy the different textures of yam cake (konjac) and lotus root (renkon) balls in the miso soup.

Directions
- Grate the renkon, add the potato starch and mix. Then make 8 renkon balls. Cut the konjac balls in halves and chop the green onion finely.
- Boil the renkon balls and konjac balls in the dashi stock.
- After the ingredients are cooked, lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the green onion on top.
★ A Note
You can add grated yam in making renkon balls. Renkon balls go well with konjac balls in this miso soup.
