Tuna and Celery Miso Soup

Enjoy mild tuna and crispy celery in this miso soup.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Canned tuna 1 can (80 g)
Celery 1/4 stalk
Celery leaves A few
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

  1. Drain oil from the canned tuna. Slice the celery stalk and cut its leaves into proper sizes.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the tuna and sliced celery. After the celery becomes tender, add the celery leaves and boil for a short time.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note

The flavor of celery is enhanced by adding its leaves.
