Pork Kimchi Miso Soup

This piquant miso soup energizes you and is good for a tired body.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Butabara (Sliced pork belly) 120 g
Kimchi 120 g
Nira (Chinese chive) 4 stalks
Vegetable oil 1 teaspoon
Ito-togarashi (Thinly shredded red pepper) 1/2 teaspoon
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the butabara and kimchi into proper sizes and the nira to 2 ~ 3-cm length.
  2. Put the vegetable oil in a pan and stir-fry the ingredients of 1.
  3. Add the dashi stock and boil for a moment. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the ito-togarashi on top.
