Minced Pork and Crafted Wheat Gluten Cake Miso Soup

This miso soup is full of ingredients and can be served as a main dish.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Minced pork 120 g
Nira (Chinese chive) 2 stalks
Kozaiku-fu (Crafted wheat gluten cakes) 20
Vegetable oil 1 teaspoon
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

  1. Rehydrate the kozaiku-fu and cut the nira to 3-cm length.
  2. Put the vegetable oil in a pan and stir-fry the minced pork over low heat until crumbly. Add the dashi stock and boil. Add the nira and kozaiku-fu and boil for a moment.
  3. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note

Instead of nira, Japanese parsley (seri) also goes well in this miso soup.
