Spicy Miso Soup

Spicy Korean hot pepper paste (gochujang) in this miso soup warms you up from inside.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Harusame (Glass noodles) 20 g
Ground pork 60 g
Mitsuba (Japanese honeywort) 1/2 bunch
Gochujang 1 tablespoon
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

  1. Rehydrate the harusame in water and cut the mitsuba to 3 ~ 4-cm length.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the ground pork. After the ground pork is cooked, dissolve the miso and add the harusame, mitsuba and gochujang.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note

Since gochujang is very spicy, reduce its amount for children.
