Autumn Salmon and Vegetable Lumps miso Soup

Enjoy the rich tastes of autumn with fatty autumn salmon and plenty of vegetables.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Salmon 50 g
Carrot 1/2
Taro 1
Konjac (Devil’s tongue) 1/2 cake
Burdock 1/3
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

(Fresh-packed, Additive-free Barley Miso)

Directions

  1. Cut the salmon into proper sizes and dip in boiling water. Dip also the konjac in boiling water and cut into proper sizes. Cut the other vegetables into lumps.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the konjac and vegetables. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and add the salmon.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

The flavor of fatty autumn salmon gently encloses root vegetables in the miso soup.
